GROUP BOOKINGS

We accept group bookings for family occasions and other events and can accommodate groups with a customised menu to meet their requirements. We can also provide a separate private function area – catering for between 20 – 40 people.

FRESH DAILY!

We make home made scones, cakes, breads, desserts, tray bakes. Everything is baked fresh each day by our own bakers and confectioners in our own kitchen upstairs. For those special occasions we can make you a themed cake.

RESTAURANT

Due to the success and popularity of Heffernan’s Fine Foods, Heifer & Hen Restaurant opened its door in 2012 upstairs over the busy and expanding Café & Deli to extend the trade to the evening. Now a standalone night time Restaurant, it also encompasses an ever growing Sunday Lunch Trade. The Heifer & Hen menu can also be enjoyed at home with a Full Take Away menu.

Offering an eclectic mix of Italian and Irish dishes, with a strong emphasis on gourmet pizzas and handmade pasta and delicious risottos. As you would imagine The Butchery produce from downstairs at Heffernan’s are proudly cooked to order featuring the best of local beef, lamb and chicken. The Bakery from Heffernan’s also supply the sumptuous desserts daily.

Our menu showcases the Best of Irish ingredients all prepared in house for our 60 seater restaurant.
